Wasn’t ready then, but now… I’m Ready! Coming SOON! NEW SEASON of Dr Pimple Popper Breaking Out on @LifetimeTV Monday April 21st at 9/8c!! Will you be watching? #drpimplepopper #breakingout
We have three fantastic patients tonight for the premiere episode of Dr Pimple Popper Breaking Out, in its NEW home @LifetimeTV Mondays 9/8c First, meet Dot who has this extra “package” in her pants, I guess you could say. Needless to say this “package” is indeed an unwelcomed guest. Watch Dot show her daughter who was quite surprised to see the size of this growth, and discuss how distressing it is to live with this growth. Dot is a strong, amazing woman and just wants her life back and to be the Dot she has always been, the type of woman who was proud to show off her beautiful body. Dot is a spunky wonderful woman I think you’re gonna love her as much as I do. Meet Tim who has a condition a lot of people love to watch me treat: Rhinophyma. This is when you have marked thickening of the skin of the nose creating a bulbous sometimes quite huge and shapeless nose. You can’t really go anywhere without someone noticing your nose when it looks like this and Tim really wants to make this better and this could lead to some really amazing life changes that I think will warm your hearts to see! Tim is such a cool funny guy, we love him in our office! And also, you’re going to meet Dr Lyndsey who is a young dermatologist who has been working at my office for the last year or so, and I believe this is the first time she has treated Rhinophyma herself. She assisted me in treating Tim, and she’s gonna tell you what it was like! Also we have Karime who has an interesting pretty rare birthmark called a Nevus of Ota which causes blue grey discoloration around an eye and often also can discolor the sclera of the eye as well. It’s very distressing because it looks like she has a black eye and she feels so self conscious about this, feeling like people think her husband gave her this bruise. Can you imagine feeling so self conscious but also feeling for your loved ones, that people are looking at and judging them incorrectly and unfairly? The fantastic Dr Arisa Ortiz a laser and derm surgeon from San Diego joined me for this case and she brought along the Piccolo laser to try out. Hope you watch to see what happens with Karime! So this is the FIRST of many new episodes we have for you in this new season of Dr Pimple Popper Breaking Out. I’m so proud of this show and most importantly am so proud of these patients who show their vulnerability. I am so lucky I get to be a part of potentially changing their lives in positive ways. Hope you enjoy! #drpimplepopper #breakingout #dermatology
