Dancing with @Bindi Irwin was a profound honor, especially sharing her touching tribute to her father. Seeing little @Robert Irwin in the audience, cheering her on, made it all the more special. One of the most meaningful pieces we’ve ever performed, Elastic Heart by @Sia , will always hold a special place in both of our hearts. It wasn’t just choreography… it was a personal story, told through movement and shared between siblings. Creating and dancing this piece alongside two young, extraordinary dancers made the experience even more special . It also marked the beginning of a long and beautiful collaborative relationship with the brilliant @Tessandra Chavez , someone who continues to inspire us and push our artistry in so many ways. When the piece finished there was a standing Ovation, we looked over and saw Kobe Bryant in the front row , smiling and telling us how much he loves and is a fan of dance . We were lucky enough to take this piece on the road during our second national tour, performing it across 70 cities, and eventually, it became part of a moment that led to an Emmy Award. But more than any award or applause, dance has given us something far greater. It’s been a source of healing, expression, connection, and purpose. We’re endlessly grateful, for the moments that shaped us, the people who believed in us, and the gift of dance itself.
