Hace un par de meses mi padre me envió un artículo sobre AACC que decía: “Si vemos que un bebé, casi recién nacido, que está tumbado, es capaz de levantar su cabeza y girarla al otro lado, eso es un signo de coordinación motora temprana y un indicativo de altas capacidades.” Y unos días después me enseñaba este vídeo del día de mi nacimiento. En el vídeo se oye decir a la matrona “¡Mira cómo levanta la cabeza ya!”. Como todo en la neurodiversidad, no es “o todo o nada” y por ver este rasgo ya se puede decir que se tengan AACC. I saw multiple doctors for my bruising. I have always felt so strongly it was abnormal how easy I bruise. My friends use to laugh about it. My legs constantly look like this and I can’t even explain how most of the bruises got there. I discussed it with multiple doctors. Some of them referred me on, others told me it’s normal and not to stress. I saw specialists and nothing came from it. Then I found out about lipedema. Easy bruising is one of the main symptoms of lipedema. It all makes sense now. I pushed to see someone who knew more about this condition.
