Losses vs wins I’ve said it a thousand times but our entire rig will feel our losses. They’ll feel our disappointment, our regrets and all of our anguish. Let them! They worked hard to support us in this journey. ‼️BUT DO NOT LINGER HERE‼️ It’s hard to support someone that stays in the dark zone too long. That, despite many blessings, doesn’t show gratitude in those dark moments. It’s hard to want to continue to encourage someone when there’s very little pay off! Our horses are the biggest parts of our team and let me tell you - they know when they’ve won or lost long before the announcer says our time! They know! Even in the losses make sure that you ALLOW your team to try to be uplifting (they know how much the loss meant), let them lift you up and put a smile on your face! Be sad. Be discouraged. But also, be hopeful, be grateful, be appreciative of your equine partner, be gentle on your loved ones and go be a winner!!!!
