This is another task that Magnus does as a service dog that makes my life not only easier, but is very necessary in many situations. Magnus knows that anytime we enter an elevator, he immediataly comes and sits between my feet, waiting for the next command. This is just one of the things that Magnus as a service dog that help me in my day to day life. This is a skill that I call "check-ins." What he does is make sure that I am ok but pressing his nose against me until I acknowledge him. Magnus has had a stomach issue since last week and we are still figuring it out through a series of tests. Thankfully, he is doing much better this week and we seem to be on the right path. Our veterinrian has been doing a phenomenal job making sure that my boy is getting the best care possible. What most people do not know is that Magnus is insanely cuddly, and he is even more so when he doesn't feel great.
