You’ll be très jolie and so smart ✨ Back at it with my series of making every dress in Anastasia! This dress is shown for approximately 4 seconds in the movie but of course I had to make it 😂 But now with this one done… drumroll please… the FINAL dress I have to make is the grand duchess coronation gown!! I’ve been making these dresses since 2021 and this is finally the year I’m going to finish the series 🥹 Now to start looking for fabric 👀

Rhaenyra part 5: the dramatic cape/sleeve combo! The embroidery alone for these shoulders took me about 100 hours 😅😅 I have never worked so hard on a costume in my life but I am so proud of my own craftsmanship on this build 💛 All that’s left is finishing the base of the belt so I can actually sew the appliqués on but then she’ll be 100% complete! Help me decide what to do on my Anastasia dress! Some additional thoughts: A- maybe TOO mirror-y and not enough sparkle? B- camera is being generous to this one and making it more sparkly than it looks irl, also takes SO much time for not as much sparkle payoff as some of the others C- love it with flash but does it look good on its own? Unsure D- maybe my favorite but still undecided E- I thought the texture of the sequins would be nice but it has too many areas that swallow the light and make it look dark

Is Renaissance Faire Anastasia a flop or not I’m undecided 🥲 I’ve been making a bunch of little projects from my fabric stash and thought this would be a fun mashup with what I had leftover!

Happy may the 4th! ✨ I made this video a couple years ago but feel like I should bring this series back 👀 Been loving all the Star Wars on my feed today and it’s had me thinking a lot about the fandom and the grief I feel in not connecting with it as much anymore. I think I have pretty tough skin when it comes to the internet but I realized the dark side of the fandom really got to me at a certain point and I stopped posting about Star Wars entirely. I’m sure many of you wouldn’t even know I’m a Star Wars fan despite that being a huge part of my come up as a creator! I’ve really been feeling the call to make a Padme cosplay this year so I want to push myself to fight through this feeling and reconnect with the good that this community has to offer 💛
