During practice, Patrick McCarty, who’s been the SCA team manager for the past 4 years, got the news that he was going to be a starter and team captain on senior night. While Katherine Kiefet was evacuating her home due to the devastating Palisades fire, her beloved cat, Aggie, got scared and took off, and they unfortunately couldn’t find her.  For two months, Katherine assumed the worst, but then one morning she got a text message from West Los Angeles Animal Shelter that Aggie had been found on her street.  Even with all the devastation, Aggie somehow survived, and Katherine hurried to reunited with Aggie in a moment she called “a dream come true.” 🥹❤️ If it wasn’t for these amazing animal shelters, who are still out there patrolling neighborhoods, pets like Aggie wouldn’t have been found.  Thank you to all the heroes out there who are still rescuing and rebuilding during this difficult time.  Moments like these prove how valuable your efforts are 🙏❤️ (🎥 via: Katherine and @Carolyn )
