I filmed this yesterday on Rare Disease Day & wanted to share with you all what we’ve been going through as a family for the past month or so. I internally debated back and forth how much I was going to share about Piper’s diagnosis or IF I was going to share at all, but I really do feel like I was blessed with this platform not only to share my music with you all, but to now spread awareness about Piper’s rare bone disease. I hope this encourages other people, especially parents, to never stop advocating for your children and if you feel like something is potentially wrong, keep pushing for testing. I’ve already connected with so many incredible people on here who’ve shared their rare disease journey’s with me and I hope to continue to connect with others going through something similar. Community is SO important and I already feel less alone because of all of you. Our family feels so lucky to have this incredible support system and we truly could not be more grateful for your continued prayers for our girl. The positive news we have received after her scans has helped us feel like we could breathe again. 🫶🏻
