VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY IN DOWNTOWN PHX 💛 Everyday (except Fridays) in Downtown Phoenix, the Andre House feeds between 500-600 unsheltered people and are in need of many helping hands. Volunteering lasts around 4 hours and includes meal prep, cooking, serving dinner, and cleaning up. Bento cakes are these mini-cakes that are very popular in Japan & Korea. They are traditionally covered in intricate designs along with having a filling in between its two layers. Lydnelle (our teacher) showed us every tiny detail from cutting the cake in ½ to making custom icing colors to learning how to pipe designs… IT WAS THE BEST 👏🏼 and Ian loved it too so bring the guys. gimme all the alltrails slander 🤣 here’s my beef ⬇️ this video is at Salome jug in Arizona - a very remote place that is known for being Arizona’s Natural Waterpark with slot canyons to slide… most people don’t know that you really need to be able to rappel to do this hike. At the very end, there is a very freaking slippery part that has a big cliff you must jump off. The water isn’t always high enough. People get stuck there all the time and have broken their bodies :( best tip: book a guide! We did this through Epic Adventures and it was the best time of my life! We were safely able to enjoy without worrrying. What other trails in Arizona do people not know the truth about? Nicknamed Sky Island Byway, you’ll feel like you’re driving through the clouds surrounded by these rocks called hoodoos.. it’s amazing! As someone who grew up in Tucson, save these seven stops for your trip to Mt. Lemmon ➡️ #1) Download the UofA’s science audio tour for your drive up the Sky Islands Byway! So much history and great information. #2) Ride the Sky Valley Ski Lift (*$17 per ride) #3) Fudge Stop! Head into Summerhaven and check out the general store for some yummy fudge to enjoy at Windy Point later. #4) Shop in the cute mountain-town shops! Always changing. #5) Cookie Cabin is a Mt. Lemmon staple! Cookies bigger than your head and really good pizza. It’s really busy so consider packing lunch as a back-up! #6) Rose Canyon Lake is a cash-only lake! Bring $10 to get in and then prepare to walk down a pretty accessible path to a gorgeous lake. $7) Watch the sunset at Windy Point which is ½ way down the Mountain.
