I am the white stripe in the flag because I am a trans MASCULINE butch. Lots of butches have complicated relationships with their gender and I’m definitely one of them. Butch to me is a gender. Our generation is losing basic empathy and it’s driving me nuts. We will not understand what it’s like to live in another persons shoes and we shouldn’t try to. We just need listening ears, sympathy and empathy to create a positive environment for each other. I don’t know how that ideology has become hateful or wrong. Doing this trend the opposite way than the detransitioners doing it because trans joy needs to be normalized more than ever. There is nothing wrong with detransitioning but I swear I see it more than I see trans people still living as trans and it’s starting to take over our voices and becomes a stigma that “we all will change our minds” and that’s just not true.
