My heart has been absolutely shattered this week for such a sweet family. Praying they are wrapped in so much love during this time. Been praying continuously for them and will keep doing just that. On another note… I am disgusted by the internet. The absolutely inappropriate behavior this week has been heartbreaking to watch. It’s made me seriously reconsider the way I show up online. I think a lot of influencers have had their eyes opened this week. I truly hope non of my community is engaging with or creating content monetizing, shaming and making accusations against a grieving family publicly. (Or even privately, but it's a whole new level to post these things) Yes, influencers choose to share so much of their life but no one, and I mean NO ONE deserves this type of treatment following such a tragedy. The lack of empathy and common courtesy the world has been displaying is so nasty and I think it's safe to say most of your favorite creators are rethinking their whole online presence. Be kind. Have grace and empathy. I understand having thoughts about the situation... Keep your judgements to yourself. That kind of talk is between you and your own mind or your friends and family. Leave them alone. Stop tagging them in your posts and commenting insensitive comments. These are HUMANS. A FAMILY. let them be. If you don’t agree with that, you’re not someone I want in my community.
