So here’s the breakdown👇🏼❤️🥹 🥚In the 10 follicles, they got 8 eggs, one egg didn’t hold up, so they had 7 to fertilize. 🐣Out of the 7 eggs, 4 fertilized. So we have 4 embryos! Crazy. 🌱Now we need to see how many of the 4 embryos mature to the “blastocyst” stage where the egg goes from one cell, to an embryo with hundreds of cells!🤞🏼This takes between 5-7 days 🧬After we see how many mature, they are frozen and sent to genetic testing. Then we’ll know how many, or if we have any at all, to transfer ❤️ So we’ll find out more in 5 days 🤷🏼‍♀️🙏❤️ #ivf #ivfgotthis #eggfreezing #eggretrieval #pregnancy #motherhood #ttc

It’s Egg Retrieval Day!! 🎉🥚👇🏼 While James’ “donation” to this IVF process isn’t as extensive as mine is, haha, he’s been the most supportive partner I could have.
