It was really eye opening to see how many people had ugly things to say about how I deal with J being gone. I’m not new to him being gone and I’ll be the first to admit it doesn’t get easier, but over time you do find ways to cope. ✨ Sometimes that’s through travel, sometimes it’s by humor, sometimes it’s by shopping, but most of the time it’s by being surrounded by a village of people who are there for you. Whether it’s family, friends or other spouses, I wouldn’t make it without our village.
