CRISPY TUNA RICE // with watermelon pop rocks #sushi #crispyrice #ahi #homemade #recipesoftiktok #appetizer #datenight #Foodie #fypシ INGREDIENTS: 1.5 cups cooked sushi rice Rice seasoning - 1.4 cup rice wine vinegar + 2 tbsp sugar + pinch salt Avocado oil 1 lb sushi grade ahi tuna 4 tsp soy sauce 4 tbsp spicy mayo Green onion Watermelon poprocks Optional - drizzle of eel sauce INSTRUCTIONS: 1) prepare sushi rice (either on the stove or in rice maker). While rice is cooking, mix together rice wine vinegar, sugar and salt in a bowl then microwave (approx 30 seconds) until sugar and salt is dissolved. Mix vinegar mixture into sushi rice and place in a baking dish lined with plastic wrap. Press evenly and layer plastic wrap on top. Refrigerate until cold (at least 4 hours but we did overnight!) 2) Once ready to cook, heat a thick layer of avocado oil to 375 degrees (very important to cook at high heat!) on the stovetop. While heating, carefully cut rice into even rectangles. Place rice patties in oil and cook 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown, then remove. 3) finely chop ahi and add to a bowl with soy sauce, spicy mayo and green onions and mix well. Add a small dollop of ahi mixture onto each rice patty, then sprinkle on watermelon pop rocks. **optional to add eel sauce - I forgot to do this but I believe it’s the way virago serves it!

NASHVILLE HOT CHICKEN LOADED FRIES 🍗🔥🍟 a little Super Bowl Sunday appetizer to please a crowd! #SuperBowl #partyfood #appetizers INGREDIENTS: 3 bags waffle cut fries Olive oil spray Salt & pepper 2 rotisserie chickens shredded Nashville hot sauce (1/2 bottle but measure with your heart) 1 block Shredded Monterey jack cheese 2 bags coleslaw 2 jars coleslaw dressing 1 jar dill pickle chips INSTRUCTIONS: 1. cook fries according to package in a preheated oven, but cover in olive oil spray, salt and pepper (to make crispier and add seasoning). 2. While fries are cooking, mix chicken + Nashville hot sauce in a bowl (until desired heat is achieved), as well as coleslaw and dressing in another bowl. When fries are done, layer on chicken and cheese. Add back to oven until cheese is just melted 3. remove from oven and layer on coleslaw + pickle chips. Serve while hot!
