They tried to crucify me too… but like my Savior, I rise. I posted one photo. One simple photo, just showing up as myself no filters, no pretending, no shrinking. And in return? I was met with hate. Mocked. Tagged in videos made just to tear me down. People laughed. People judged. All because I chose to be visible in a world that only accepts women when we fit into a box that makes them comfortable. And for a moment, it hurt. I questioned myself. I thought about deleting everything and going quiet. But God… He reminded me this is bigger than me. This journey, this platform, this voice it’s not just mine. It’s for the moms trying to find themselves again. It’s for the women trying to rise after being broken. It’s for the girls who were told they were “too much” or “not enough” all at once. Instead of fighting hate with more hate, I chose to surrender it to God. I gave up alcohol. I stopped entertaining anything that took me away from peace. I started drawing closer to Him. I chose healing. I chose to rise. And in the middle of all that noise, something beautiful happened… Women started messaging me. Telling me they felt seen. Telling me they finally felt brave enough to be themselves too. Telling me that by not hiding, I gave them permission to stand taller. And THAT is why I kept going. This Easter, I see the story of Jesus with new eyes. He was crucified for walking in truth. Mocked, ridiculed, misunderstood and yet He rose. With power. With purpose. With grace. And if He could rise after the cross, so can we. So to any woman reading this who’s been torn down, bullied, or made to feel small: You don’t have to explain your light to people who prefer the dark. You don’t have to shrink for people who can’t handle your growth. You are allowed to rise, even if it makes others uncomfortable. God is still writing your story.
