Chengdu, China noodles and wontons in a hidden apartment complex ⬇️ Big thank you to @chengdufoodtours (on IG) for recommending this spot! By far one of the most memorable experiences of our trip was meeting the owner of this small restaurant who is serving recipes passed down from her own mom. The wontons and noodles were about $2 CAD each and I’ve never had noodles and wontons quite like these ones! So good! Note: the wontons are called “Chao Shou” (I mispronounced it in the video) and it’s distinct because of the way the dumpling is folded along with the unique spicy rich dumpling sauce I’m getting hungry again just from writing this caption! Their off menu pho’s only come in one size: massive and are very well priced in my opinion 1. Sizzling Beef, Egg, and Meatball Plate $17.00 2. Charred Beef Short Rib Pho $20.00 3.
